EQUITY SPOTLIGHT AWARD

The Monroe County Community School Corporation Equity Spotlight Award recognizes student organizations, community partners, and faculty and staff members for their commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment reflective of our Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
Who is Eligible?

Anyone (students, parents/caregivers, faculty, staff, or the public) may nominate a staff/faculty member, student, student organization, school, innovative learning initiative, or community partner. *Self-nominations and nominations by a member of the Equity, Access, and Opportunity Steering Committee will NOT be considered.
Instructions and Information
The Equity Spotlight Award Committee will review completed nominations for scoring based on the value of the nominees' contribution(s) in:
- Fostering programs, services, activities, or initiatives that are inclusive of all members of the school community;
- Advocating for a welcoming school environment, embracing and nurturing; or
- Transforming the lives and experiences of the members of our school community through their leadership, creativity, and service.
